Previously unseen photos of The Rolling Stones, Helen Mirren and the Gettys were on display at Uffizi in Battersea
Purespace Group celebrate a spectacular iconic showcase of previously unseen photos, showing rockers David Bowie, Mick Jagger and George Harrison in front of the camera.
Carinthia had access to celebrities of the Seventies and Eighties most photographers can only dream of. An actor, journalist and model herself, her life and close friendships with the upper echelons of an A-list crowd enabled her to catch the world’s most famous faces completely at ease in front of her camera.
Purespace Group caught up with Carinthia on the evening of the private exhibition...
Each photo captures a moment from West’s heterogeneous life. Be that a week-long cruise around the islands of the Great Barrier Reef with The Beatles' George Harrison and his wife, Olivia, or the fourth birthday party of Tracee Ellis Ross (Diana Ross’s daughter) that she attended with Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood in Malibu, 1976. Then there’s the famous photo she took when Pink Floyd flew an inflatable pig above Battersea Power Station.
